Account & data deletion

LoyalTea provides loyalty cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet for cafes and restaurants, plus a staff app for the businesses that run them. Here’s how to request deletion of an account or of your data — no app required.

Staff accounts (LoyalTea Merchant app)

If you sign in to the LoyalTea Merchant app, you can delete your account directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. This removes your sign-in and your access immediately.

You can also email us at support@loyaltea.ca from the address you signed in with, and we’ll delete the account for you. This applies even if you signed in once and never had access to a business.

Customer loyalty data (wallet cards)

Your loyalty card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — there’s no app and no account password. To have your data deleted, ask the business where you enrolled, or email us at support@loyaltea.ca. You can also write to our Privacy Officer — see the Privacy Policy.

What deletion does: we remove or anonymize the details that identify you, such as your name and contact information. Our loyalty-history and audit records are append-only, so integrity records that no longer identify you may be retained, as described in our Privacy Policy (sections 9–10). Removing the card from your wallet does not by itself delete your data — ask us or the business.

How fast we respond

We confirm verified deletion requests and complete them within 30 days. If the law requires us to keep certain records, we’ll tell you what is kept and why.
